Carl... This looks like my Dream Home too... I noticed that there is an "old fashioned" TV antenna on the roof -- does that mean no cable? No high speed internet? I would have a hard time without Internet these days! Dish Network is fine for television, but HughesNet is not yet ready for real 2-way VP service...

I wish you well in your new home...

Carl,

Go for this log cabin! I would love to live in this similar house and surrounding environment.

I end up in South Florida - Fort Lauderdale for awhile. I rather live in woodsy environment.

May I inquire how much this log cabin sells for?

If less than $80,000. Go for it!

Hey ABC,

This is probably the HDT antenna. We really need some break from technology on daily life.

Tranquility from environment is more important than addiction to the Internet and DeafRead. :)

Carl,

Very baolic -- an ideal place for a person who loves to think.

Any Internet access? Reason for asking is that my former clsssmae's ISP has recently disconnected the Internet and switched "dial-up". Reason: the population in her area is so small.

RLM,

You have found more happiness in
Fort Lauderdale? Tell us more about
FTL. Gallaudet alumni live there?

Carl,

First of all, this log cabin looks so cozy. Wishing you a good luck.

RLM,

I dont know where you got an idea of the price - 80K for that? Yes, probably in your area. However, this log cabin should be more than
$300's or up. I have been renting the different log cabins in TN since 2007. I learned that they were from upper 200's to million's depending on the quality of the buildings, options, mountain view, sq ft, lot property, etc. Perhaps, I will consider to purchase a log cabin for vacation home.
