From Audism Discussion: Frank McCracken

A special guest vlog: Carl Schroeder videotaped a story told by Frank McCracken during the Audism Unveiled panel discussion at Central Oregon Communicty College today. Frank went to Colorado School for the Deaf and he later graduated from the school in 1944. The other panelists are Bob Warr and Peter Quint. Please observe his use of American Sign Language and how it shaped and influenced him. My apologies for such a poor video.

The guy on the left who sits next to Frank is rude. He uses his pager during the panel discussion. Gee..

I meant the guy in his white shirt. The other guy in his blue shirt got up and left with his cell phone is very proper.

thanks for sharing this video with us

his stories are important

wow u can see him reliving a bit the fear and sadness of being left at the school without his parents

all these years later u can still see that memory come through

do hope folks will videotape and share folks' testimonies

love how he ends with "we were all the same, all the same"

thanks for posting this and thanks to Frank for being part of your panel

peace
