superlative. The banner we carry is not "down" or "not yet up" as you signed but already up there but battered and scarred over the years. Yet, I agree with you - when the battle over the Deaf (ASL) Question subsides, we will euphoriously bring forth a NEW banner and wave proudly along with hearing signers to the world - and blatantly into the face of Audism.
Work on that poem. I love the gist you are hinting at.
